About First Kids
First Kids Early Childhood and School Age Care is a non-profit program committed to admitting children from infancy through school age regardless of race, color, handicap, sex, or religion.

Infant and Toddler Care
Preschool Classes
Wrap around care (before and after preschool)
School Age: Before and after school care with transportation provided by JCPS to and from Brandeis, Coleridge Taylor, Chancey, Wilder, Dunn and Norton Elementary Schools; and Meyzeek and Kammerer Middle Schools.
Summer Programs for all ages
Registration Information
Registration is open year round. We encourage you to drop by our center to see the program and make sure it is a fit for you and your child. Registration forms are available online.
Fees: Fees vary from program to program.
Hours: First Kids is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Curriculum Highlights
First Kids is proud to be a ministry of First Christian Church. Our mission includes creating an environment that will foster the overall development of each child in our program. Our staff of Christian teachers is dedicated to shaping the lives of children. Our daily preschool program focuses on cognitive development, physical development, and social development. Children experience circle time, storytelling, puppetry, hands on science, rhythm and music, art, and gym class.
Facilities
First Kids is located inside of First Christian Church on the corner or U.S. Highway 42 and Wolf Pen Branch. Our center includes classroom, a large multipurpose room, designated lunchroom and carpeted gym. We also have a playground.
